Clients
From an inbound marketing agency to financial consulting, here's a list of the clients I've worked for in the print, marketing, and financial services industry.
Financial Services
My experience in the financial services industry started as assistant editor at Debt.com, a financial news website. My duties included writing clean, informative copy for our audience — financially-stressed individuals looking for a solution to their debt problems — as well as hiring freelancers and promoting our content across social media.
Next, I worked at the investment offices of Weiss Research in West Palm Beach, where I was the web producer in charge of copy-editing and publishing content for our 300,000-plus email subscribers, as well as applying SEO best tactics and creating social media accounts for all of our investment products.
For two summers, I worked at The Chautauquan Daily, a newspaper in western New York.
My first summer was spent as the morning lecture reporter, where I covered topics ranging from national security, politics, and diplomacy to science, space exploration, and nature conservation. The second summer I was one of two copy editors for the 26-page daily.
The Chautauqua Institution, originally known as the Chautauqua Lake Sunday School Assembly, was founded in 1874 as an educational experiment in out-of-school distance learning. It eventually gave rise to dozens of other such institutions across the country, including one in Boulder, Colorado.
Marketing
Stern Inbound Marketing is an inbound marketing agency located in Aurora, Colorado, that specializes in content marketing, on-site SEO, web design, landing page optimization, and social media marketing.
I handle accounts that include a funeral home, an auto mechanic, a manufacturing company, a car diagnosis app, and a real estate agent.
For these accounts, I write social media content including blog posts, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram posts.
